The Kid's 10 Tracks (Week One)
***THE LINKS ARE UP NOW.***
01. "1 Thing" - Amerie
Beat. Lyrics. Vocals. All great. This song is a hit. Let's see what she does with it.
02. "U Already Know" - 112
This is the 112 from 1996 that we have been waiting for.
03. "Lay U Down" - Ryan Leslie
Something different. Something hot. Looking for his album sometime this year.
04. "Cater 2 U" - Destiny's Child
Supposed to be their 2nd single, good choice for them. Plus, I needed to know that I was loved.
05. "Get Lost In Your Love" - Lea
After listening to that "Girls Keep Talking" mess featuring Lil' Flip, I had very little hope in this chick. This track proves me wrong. Produced by Kadis & Sean.
06. "Don't Leave Me Alone" - Ashanti
This girl can sing! Nah. She does, however, know to make some catchy ass songs.
07. "Love Song" - Olivia
I just got this track yesterday and it's already on my list. Hopefully she makes some ripples this time around. I was feeling her debut.
08. "Slow Down" - Bobby Valentino
Lyrics are kinda corny, but it works as a track.
09. "It's Like That" - Mariah Carey featuring Fatman Scoop
I don't remember where, but some site labeled her with the song (or something like that) as "the poor man's Beyoncé." I'd rather be poor.
10. "Crash" - Gwen Stefani
Reminds me of Salt & Pepa's "Push It" only different...
Close Calls
"ASAP" - T.I.
I can't enough of this track. Trying to make this my ringer.
"Candy Shop" - 50 Cent featuring Olivia
Also known as "Magic Stick Part II." Why isn't Olivia singing though? People are going to think she is a rapper.
"Gangsta" - Young Blaze featuring Lil' Jon
Kinda wack, but somebody had to like it. I guess it's just me.
"Get Right" - Jennifer Lopez featuring Fabolous or "Ride" - Usher
Both of these songs have wack ass lyrics and even the vocals on Usher's track seem a bit off with the beat. That na-na-na-na bullshit isn't necessary. He over does it. Sad to say but her version is just a bit catchier. Hahaha@them both having the same bridge. This beat is the Close Call.
Guilty Pleasure
"Peanut Butter & Jelly" - Christina Milian
The beat is so sick and she looks so good. I can't help it I'm a sucker for a girl who shouts out that she is feeling 'sexy.' Past guilty pleasures include Beyoncé's "Naughty Girl." Just take a listen.
All tracks should be available for about 12 - 14 days after the posting. If they aren't just leave me a comment.
